TRAVEL INFORMATION
Washington Island is located 7 miles north of the tip of the Door County Peninsula, about 90 miles northeast of Green Bay, Wisconsin; 180 miles north of Milwaukee; 270 miles from Chicago; and 320 miles from Minneapolis. To get to Washington Island, you take a 30-minute car ferry trip from the Northport Pier, located in Gills Rock at the northernmost end of Highway 42. Commercial air flights land at Austin Straubel Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Charter air flights may be booked from Austin Straubel with Executive Air, (920) 498-4880.

Shuttle service from Austin Straubel to Northport Pier is available from Door County-Green Bay Shuttle, (920) 746-0500.
